Why should my website have a privacy policy?

March 23, 2020

Your website should have a privacy policy in order to forestall the allegation of arbitrary use of information from customers and users. To buttress this further, your website should include the privacy policy in such a way that it specifies what you do to protect the information they gather from visitors, customers and users.

Note: It’s extremely important for a website whether one that collects users information or a website that doesn’t collect personal information to have a privacy policy. This is because users look out for links to Privacy Policies in the footer of a website. You should always include visible links to your legal agreements across all pages of your websites – even if that’s a landing page – so users can review these agreements and your privacy policy.
