Update from Efe, our CEO – Our Plans to Re-open our office Safely

May 08, 2020

Greetings Bee-lievers,

The world as we know it has changed dramatically over the past weeks and months as the corona pandemic has spread across the world. It is a time of challenge and we all need to take responsibility and collective actions to limit the spread and to allow our health care systems to provide the necessary care to those in need. The past weeks have also shown that the necessary measures taken, come with high consequences for society as we see businesses struggle. So, as we re-open our Lekki office following the easing of the lockdown, we will do so gradually and as safely as possible.

Starting from Monday the11thof May, 2020 we will be alternating the opening of our Lekki office. This means that while we continue to work full time providing our services everyday of the week, our office will only be open three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) between 9am – 3pm.

Our primary focus as we open our office is to safeguard the lives of both our staff and clients. As we go into this phased easing of the lockdown, we need to work with you to make our return to work safe by adhering to the below safety protocols;

1. Personal Protection
The most effective way to curb the spread of the Coronavirus is by protecting ourselves at all times. And this is why 618 Bees will provide hand sanitizers, washing liquid and wipes at our office, while our clients will kindly ensure that they have their face mask on. Clients will also make sure they use the hand sanitizers at the reception desk.

2. Physical Distancing
Physically keeping away from others, for now, goes a long away in neutralising the ability of the Coronavirus to spread. Hence, we also have to work together in this area to ensure that we reduce physical contact to the barest minimum when you visit our office. On our part, we are taking steps to ensure transactions at our office are conducted at a safe distance from one another.
You can also maintain physical distancing by making use of our courier service offering. All our services come with this option and we encourage all our clients to take advantage of this service at a discounted fee. We have an operative account with DHL which you can use to send and receive documents from in any part of the world. In a situation where we send documents to you by DHL, you can return them back to us by dropping them in the nearest DHL outlet to your residence. This is reliable, fast, secure and can help reduce the spread of the coronavirus.

Please note that on Tuesday and Thursday when we work remotely, 618 Bees remains reachable via our emails and phone lines.

We want to assure all our customers that we are doing everything we can to support their businesses and honor our commitments during this challenging period. Our team is ready to support you with any issues that may occur. We will continue to keep you updated as the situation evolves and we thank you for your understanding and confidence.

Best Regards,

Efe Ugboro
CEO, 618 Bees
